Yes its true ......today an extra-Super Moon is raising this evening.
Meteorological Office reported, the moon will be seen bigger and brighter because it will be at the closest distance from the earth. When the moon comes close to the earth it appears 16% bigger and 30% brighter than the normal full moon. This is called the Super Moon.
The Super moon on November 14, 2016, will be the closest a Full Moon has been to Earth since January 26, 1948. The next time a Full Moon is even closer to Earth will be on November 25, 2034 (dates based on UTC time).
Best time to see??
The best time to see is at the Moon rise. The best time to enjoy a Super Full Moon is after moon rise when the Moon is just above the horizon, weather permitting. At this position, a Super Full Moon will look bigger and brighter than when it's higher up in the sky because you can compare the apparent size of the Moon with elements in the landscape like hills, foliage, and buildings. This effect is called the Moon Illusion. This will be the best occasion for the photography lovers.
